She Journeys
Walking Between Worlds
For more than eighteen years, I have worked in humanitarian crises across the world. Alongside that journey, I have walked another path — one shaped by nature, ancient wisdom, and the many faces of Diana.
Today, these two worlds meet through She Journeys.
My Story
Two paths. One calling.
For many years, I believed my work and my spiritual life belonged in separate worlds.
One led me to humanitarian crises, working alongside communities facing conflict, disaster and displacement.
The other led me into forests, ancient temples and sacred landscapes, where nature became my teacher and the many faces of Diana became a living guide.
Over time, I realised these were never two different paths. Both were teaching me how to listen, how to walk beside others, and how to find steadiness in times of change.
That is why I created She Journeys.
A quiet truth
You do not need to travel across the world to find yourself. But sometimes, you need to step out of the noise of your everyday life to finally hear what has always been living within you.
What Shaped My Work
Every path I offer today is rooted in three parts of my own journey.
Emergency Response &
Humanitarian Aid
For more than eighteen years, I have worked alongside communities affected by conflict, disasters and displacement. These experiences taught me resilience, humility and the importance of walking with people rather than trying to rescue them.
Priestess & Nature
Practice
As a Priestess of Diana and of Avalon, I have spent years exploring seasonal wisdom, sacred landscapes and nature-based spirituality. The land has become both my teacher and my compass.
Teaching & Guiding
Whether at universities, in workshops, online programmes or on pilgrimage, I love creating spaces where knowledge becomes lived experience and insight turns into practice.
What I Believe
The principles that guide every journey I offer.
• Nature is one of our greatest teachers.
• Transformation cannot be rushed.
• Wisdom is lived, not collected.
• Resilience grows through relationship, not control.
• Every woman carries an inner compass.
• Ancient traditions still have something meaningful to say today.
• We walk further and lighter when we walk together.
Why I Created She Journeys
For many years, I lived between two worlds.
One was shaped by humanitarian work in places of crisis.
The other by forests, temples and ancient traditions.
Creating She Journeys was never about leaving one world behind. It was about bringing them together.
Here, nature, sacred travel and personal transformation meet in one place, inviting women to reconnect with themselves, with the living world and with what truly matters.
She Journeys is offered under my priestess name, Joyce A. Sanders, while my humanitarian work continues under my professional name. Both reflect different aspects of the same path.
Thank You
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I hope our paths cross — whether online, in nature, or somewhere along an ancient road.
